Digital Detox Challenge

Technology as it is evolving is all about doing, not being.

Social media and digital communication demand that we constantly sell ourselves to the world. Our technology-soaked minds tell us what they think we need to live a satisfying and nourishing life, but they don’t have the wisdom or the heart to guide us.

And so we lose our connection to deep self.

The Challenge: Balancing Technology and Deep Self

Begin by asking ourselves – does the way we relate through technology create a life that is fulfilling?

At the end of our lives, will we look back at the hours spent on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, and think: “That was good! I’m proud of that.”

Set an intention to explore how our tech use connects with what is happening inside us.

In a healthy relationship with technology, the focus is on being present, and on experiencing life as you are living it. Technology is a tool, not a way of life.
